Eddie update
We saw the geneticist today. He felt pretty sure that Eddie does not have a syndrome. We will be doing a few other tests (ultrasound of his kidneys and echo of his heart) just to rule other issues. If those come back negative then it is most likely just a structural thing and not related to anything else. Whether this is genetically linked or just a spontaneous occurrence, he was not able to determine. We will be seeing the orthopedic doctor again to talk about possible treatments and prognosis. It is likely that he will have some scoliosis and other curves and twists as a result of his bone structure. Eddie's malformations cannot be fixed but there are things we will be able to do to lessen the disfigurement that may develop. We feel grateful that it is what it is, if that makes sense. Mostly, we are grateful for Eddie and what a light he is to us and our family. He is a super happy, cute kid and we love him a ton.

Cute kids, I really like the sand in little Eddie's hair from his big sister....... oh aren't big sisters a lot of fun. Cute kids wish we were there for all of this. Love you all
Hey Paige--so glad to hear that you have some good news. We will be praying for you to continue to get good news :)!! I really love looking at the pics of your kids...and boy is Eddie way passing Xander. Xander is finally getting up on his hands and knees. He can scoot his body a little bit, but not too far...I guess I am actually happy with that for now!
Oh, dear Paige! It's great to read the better news after having just read when you were so worried it was worse in a few posts back. I hope you continue to recieve good news. We will keep your little family in our prayers as well.
